Lenovo to launch IdeaPad K1 in India

Lenovo is going to launch its 10.1" Android Honeycomb tablet, the IdeaPad K1, in India this September. The tablet will most probably be updated to Android 3.1 before its launch.

There is no official word on the pricing of the tablet. According to its international advertisements, it is expected to cost about  Rs 25,000. But the 32 GB tablet might also be launched for about Rs 30,000

BlackBerry playbook launched in India

As we had mentioned earlier, BlackBerry Playbook was yesterday launched across the Indian market. The tablet was unveiled by Bollywood star Salman Khan in Mumbai. The tablet is available only in a Wi-Fi version and will cost about Rs. 30,000. More details on the tablet can be found here.

Motorola to launch its tablet Xoom in India this month

Motorola India has announced that it will be launching its Android tablet Xoom in India later this month. It is the second Honeycomb tablet to be available in the country, after Acer Iconia A500 launch last month
The tablet is expected to be available in the last week of this month and both the 3G+Wi-Fi model and the Wi-Fi only model will be launched.

    Huawei introduces its new Android Tabet MediaPad

    Huawei today revealed world’s first Android 3.2 tablet, the MediaPad at an event preceding CommunicAsia. It is the company's first Honeycomb tablet. The tablet will be launched in the 3rd quarter of 2011. Huawei is planning to launch it in India at for about Rs. 25,000

    Nokia's latest smartphone the E6 is now available for pre-order on Nokia India's website. The Nokia E6 will be the first smartphone to come out with the latest version of Symbian i.e. Symbian Anna. Nokia E6 is available for Rs 17,999 on the website.

    Nokia N8 to get latest Symbian Anna update

    Nokia N8 users all over the world will be getting the Symbian Anna firmware update in the coming few weeks. The update will bring continuous autofocus and 30FPS camera recording capabilities to it's 12 MP camera.Symbian Anna is expected to bring better and smoother user interface for Symbian smartphones. It is expected to bring a number of tweaks out of which the few for the camera got confirmed.
    The update will also be available for E7, C7 and C6-01 in the following months as promised by Nokia.
