Asus Eee Pad Transformer confirmed for June launch in India

Asus India head Alex Huang has confirmed that the company will launch its Honeycomb device the Eee Pad Transformer in India this June. According to him, the company had earlier planned to release the device in May, but due to the Japan Earthquake and the ensuing Component Shortage, the launch has been postponed to June.
This tablet comes with an optional docking station, which turns the tablet into a full-fledged netbook with a QWERTY keyboard and a built-in mini-HDMI port.

Although there is still no pricing information, going by the price elsewhere, it is expected to sell for around Rs.20,000 for the lowest model to about Rs.35,000 for the top model.
