Galaxy 3 5801 Official Froyo update giving users problems

Only a couple of days ago, Samsung had released the official Froyo update for their entry-level smartphone the Galaxy 3 but  users are reporting several problems with the update including:-

Samsung Galaxy 3 5801

• Swype not working
• Camera Crashing
• Battery Life
• Proximity sensor problems
• Problem with Volume Rockers for silencing the device

It seems like every device update from Samsung has been running in to some problems. Only a couple of days back Samsung had to suspend its Galaxy S Gingerbread update due to some undefined issues.
