According to a report in
themobileIndian, the Chinese company Huawei is going to introduce unlocked CDMA handsets in India which can be used on any CDMA network. Until now, Huawei has sold its CDMA phones either on Tata Indicom or on Reliance Communications' CDMA arm, but now the handsets will work on all three CDMA networks available in India, MTS being the third.
Currently Huawei has only one handset in the Indian market, an Android based phone called IDEOS. However, the company has many Android based tablets and smartphones in other countries that are may be launched in India soon.
